If you’re installing on a fresh machine, there shouldn’t be any malware or bad connections taking place, in which case it should be safe to allow any immediate connections the Mac tries to make. Yes, it would require constant maintenance on their part. If they needed to up the price to make such a strategy viable, so be it. As it stands, I uninstalled out of frustration after using the demo for 6 hours. The alerts and interruptions never stop.

During the Installation of Little Snitch on macOS High Sierra you may see a message: “System Extension Blocked”. This is a new security mechanism in High Sierra, requiring you to explicitly allow the installation of a third party system extension.
